Funny story about the ABC's Jim Middleton:

He was picnicking with his family one Saturday afternoon when two small boys joined Kitty on the play equipment.

"Around the corner came their dad. And I thought, 'Aha, I know you."' He introduced Alice to Ben Mitchell, then one of Howard's press secretaries. "At which moment, up comes Kitty and says, 'We don't like John Howard.' Her mother says, 'No, Kitty, that's not right.' She says, 'Yes it is. He locks up little children.' And there's no escape from that."
